Question (Q-73)
Bashir Ahmad passed away leaving behind his wife, one brother, three sisters, his mother, seven nephews and five nieces. How will his inheritance be distributed?
Answer:
With the condition that the questioner has been truthful when providing these details, after spending Bashir Ahmad’s wealth on anything which takes precedence over inheritance, Bashir Ahmad’s wealth should be divided into 60 parts. 15 shares from these will be given to his wife, 10 shares to his mother, 14 shares to his brother, and each of his sisters will receive 7 shares (the total given to all three sisters is 21 shares). The nephews and nieces do not receive any share from the inheritance in this instance.
